COMPENSATION

  • Base Pay: Your base pay is targeted to be competitive to the market rate. It may be raised through merit increases based on performance, or increases reflective of new skills and responsibilities acquired.
  • Bonus Program: To drive a culture of ownership and support our pay for performance philosophy, we reward top performers who are contributing to the success of our company. Rewards include a variety of bonus programs aligned by position.

 

HEALTH & WELLBEING BENEFITS

  • Medical Insurance: We offer a contribution towards Discovery Medical Aid to all of our G&A employees.
  • Employee Assistance Program: All of our employees have free access to AskNelson, with 24/7 access to counselling, financial and legal advice and coaching.

 

FINANCIAL AND INCOME PROTECTION BENEFITS

Set yourself up for success for retirement, and protect yourself and your family in the instance that something happens to you. All employees are auto-enrolled once they have passed their probationary period.

  • Retirement Scheme: This benefit requires employees to contribute a minimum of 2%. The company will provide a 5% contribution.  Employees are able to increase their contributions.
  • Life Insurance: Get covered once you’ve passed your probationary period. The company pays the full cost of this benefit.
  • Group Disability: Group Disability is a benefit provided to you by the Company. In the event of a long-term injury or illness, group income protection gives you both practical and financial support if you’re absent from work by providing a regular income of 75% of your regular salary.
  • Funeral Benefit: An amount to help cover the funeral cost for you, your spouse or any of your qualifying children.

 

LEAVE

  • Paid time off: Holiday entitlement is calculated according to the calendar year, 1st January to 31st December. Each employee is entitled to 25 working days holiday (pro rata) in each holiday year to be taken at such time or times as approved by the Company. The Employee can take up to twenty-one (21) consecutive annual leave days
  • Holidays: Employees will receive paid holidays according to South African Law
  • Family Responsibility Leave: 3 days per year, after completion of 4-months tenure
  • Sick Leave: During first 6 months of employment, 1 day for every 26 days worked. After 6 months of employment, 6 weeks during a 36-month period.
